Keeler, Willie Ed
Willie Ed Keeler of Lambert, 52, died Friday, December 31, 2004, at Quitman County Hospital of cancer.
Services were Wednesday, January 5, at 1:00 p.m. at Visitor Chapel M. B. Church with the Rev. Alvester Bowman of Memphis, TN, officiating. Interment was in Visitor Chapel Cemetery. Delta Burial Corporation of Marks had charge.
Born January 6, 1952, in Quitman County, he was a graduate of Quitman County High School and a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his wife, Alberta Keeler, of Lambert.
He is survived by two daughters, Tywonne Willis of Marks and Kim Alexander of Memphis; and a son, William Keeler of Milwaukee, WI.

Keys, Willie Mae
Willie Mae Keys, age 97, died of natural causes at home in Marks, MS, July 11, 2011.
Funeral services were held 11:00 a.m. July 16, 2011 at The Silent Grove M. B. Church, the Reverend Ezra Towner, Jr. officiated.
Visitation was at Delta Burial on Friday, July 15, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Keys was born March 21, 1914 in Vance, MS. She was a member of the Silent Grove M. B. Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, and one brother.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Louise Weeks, Marks, MS; one step-son Charles Keys, Kansas City, MO; two grandsons Craig Weeks, Birmingham, LA, Eric Weeks, Marks, MS; one step grandson Anheuser.

Thelma Pearl Kuykendall of Memphis, TN, formerly of Crowder, 69, died at her residence in Memphis on Sunday, February 18, 2007.
Services were Friday, February 23, at 12 noon at Antioch M. B. Church at Courtland with the Reverend Reginald Reed officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery at Courtland. Cooley’s Mortuary, Inc. had charge.
Born October 14, 1937, in Batesville, to Nolton and Eula Dunn Kuykendall, she was a homemaker and a member of Antioch M. B. Church at Courtland.
She is survived by a daughter, Norristein Kuykendall of Memphis, TN; a son, Sherman Kuykendall of Batesville; her mother, Eula Kuykendall of Crowder; two sisters, Velma James of Batesville and Carnelia Kuykendall of Memphis; three brothers, William Lee Kuykendall of Batesville, Waverly Kuykendall of Memphis, and Sceola Kuykendall of Minneapolis, MN; and three grandchildren.
